Goal:
Identify the 6 essential nutrients needed to maintain a healthy body. Determine the function and purpose of carbohydrates in our bodies. 

Daily Agenda:
1. Six Essential Nutrients- Read through Intro Slides on your own
2. The function of nutrients: Using page 33 in your textbook OR online resources to fill in the chart with information and functions of each of the essential nutrients.
2. Nutrient Superheros!
   -Research one of the 6 nutrients and create a nutrient super hero (directions & details on link                 above)
   -Use colorful paper and markers/colored pencils to make your poster (on supply counter)
   - BE CREATIVE & HAVE FUN

1.  Watch this Measuring Demonstration Video . Complete the Measuring notes handout on google classroom as you watch.

2. Measuring Abbreviations: As a group, you will record a video (one video all together) to showcase your measuring skills.  Each person in your group must discuss and show how to measure one of the following.
-Measuring a dry ingredient w/measuring cups (ex. 1 cup flour)
-Measuring a liquid ingredient (ex. 1 cup water)
-Measuring small amounts of ingredients (ex. 1 tsp salt)
-Measuring using a scale
